Links tapped inside TikTok, Discord, or Roblox chat open in a stripped-down in-app browser: third-party cookies crippled, popups blocked, logins forgotten. Survey walls — especially new-tab provider flows — fail there while working perfectly one tap away in a real browser.
Symptoms of the in-app trap
- Survey buttons do nothing, or the new tab never opens.
- You get logged out between the wall and the survey.
- Completions never credit despite a success screen.
Escape in two taps
- TikTok: tap ⋯ / Share → 'Open in browser' (or copy link, paste into Chrome/Safari).
- Discord: tap ⋯ on the embed → 'Open in Browser'.
- iOS: use the AA / ⋯ menu → 'Open in Safari'; Android: ⋮ → 'Open in Chrome'.
- Then log in fresh — sessions do not transfer from the in-app view.
Why credits fail inside
Restricted storage or navigation in an in-app browser can interrupt survey attribution. Start from a supported full browser. If a reward is missing, save the provider, survey ID and completion time and use the missing-credit support guide; the available evidence determines what can be investigated.
